Level 2:
5 point mapping of device for As-Left data. Mapping shows temperature difference throughout device. Adjustments made when applicable. A full report with all measurements and diagram of device sent electronically to customer.
Level 1:
Validation of Temperature Device with one measurement and calibration sticker affixed to each instrument. The measurement is displayed on the calibration sticker.
It is critical that freezers, autoclaves and other temperature controlled equipment produce accurate temperature readings throughout the equipment's operable range. Whether our clients are storing laboratory samples for future research or employing heat and pressure to eliminate potential hazardous microbes, temperature discrepancies can have a negative impact on compliance and monetary gain. Equipment Calibration Services provides our clients with temperature validation and temperature calibration services that document these temperature discrepancies. If our clients SOP states storage in -80 C, they would be concerned with the fact that many deep freezers do not reach this temperature due to overcrowding of the device. ECS will calibrate and adjust these freezers, often relocating and rearranging the freezers contents. Temperature devices often measure temperature in one location, which can vary greatly throughout the device. With our calibration and validation service, ECS provides our clients with temperature mapping, given our clients the ability to fully understand how their equipment operates.

With the use of NIST traceable standards, our customers can be assured of the results we produce.
Our technicians employ Type J & Type K thermo-couples as reference standards for all our customer's calibration needs. With this direct comparison method, we are capable of producing highly accurate and consistent results across the entirety of our temperature calibration scope.
